Our Background

24SEA was launched as a spin-off company of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and the Offshore Wind Infrastructure lab (OWI-lab) in 2016. It was founded by Gert De Sitter and Christof Devriendt. 24SEA's mission is to empower offshore wind developer and operators by provide the insights and decission support that are crucial to minimize construction and installation costs of future offshore structures and assess the lifetime of existing structures and reduce their operation, maintenance and inspection costs.
