WILLOW

The WILLOW project will provide a data-driven smart curtailment solution to the Wind Farm Operators looking for a trade-off between the power production and the lifetime consumption. With this aim, WILLOW pretends to design a novel Structural Health Monitoring System able to provide high quality data to perform a reliable fleet life assessment using physical models and AI methods.

SMARTLIFE

The SMARTLIFE project wants to use advanced physics-based and data-based so-called "digitaltwins" for further optimising the operation and maintenance of the offshore wind farms, while guaranteeing structural reliability and increasing the chances of extending the life of the offshore wind infrastructure in the Belgian North Sea.

SUPERSIZED 4.0

The SUPERSIZED 4.0 project targets the development of innovative methods for monitoring based on continuous data from the fleet of turbines. Fleet-data originates from combining Fast SCADA, existing CM and SHM data with new extensive instrumentation on a limited number of turbines combined with a limited setup of IoT-based sensors.

BOPTIC

The BOPTIC project targets to reduce O&M costs by focusing on the Balance of Plant (BOP) of offshore wind farms through the use of emerging optical (OPT) sensing technologies and advances in both data-handling and data-mining tools for improved condition and structural health monitoring of both power cables and foundations.
